Firstly, I LOVE this laptop. My order was supposed to arrive on May 14, but I got it on May 10 which was freaking awesome. The box was fine, it wasn’t beat up or anything. The laptop itself had no scratches or anything, the screen was also perfectly clean. It’s fast, just like advertised. Good with multitasking.Watching videos like movies or YouTube ran great. I don’t edit photos or videos, so I can’t comment on how well it works with those.Touchscreen worked ok, sometimes it wouldn’t pick up my touches, and I was nervous of pressing too hard, didn’t want to damage the screen or anything. I don’t really care about touchscreens anyway, so I’m probably not the best to describe it, I don’t really use it much.Battery power was awesome. I haven’t really pushed it too hard though, but I could do some light gaming and it lasted several hours, and if you’re just watching videos or messing with documents and stuff it lasts even longer. Idk about 10 hours, but it definitely will get 5-6. Charges really fast.Speaking of light gaming, it ran better than I expected playing games. However like I said, “light” gaming. I didn’t play a lot of heavy titles that really pushed its limits, but it ran games like Stellaris very nicely, and I could play overwatch with low settings without a getting whole lot of issues.I love the way it looks. Very nice blue, and the golden accents go really well. Backlit keyboard is nice. The laptop doesn’t have a number pad, which is to be expected as they’re trying to make the laptop smaller. The laptop is EXTREMELY lightweight, and is as thin as my old iphone, really incredible how they did this and still fit in all the specs that it has.In the description it says “windows 7 upgrade able to windows 10” and in the listed specs it says “windows 10” which worried me because I didn’t know which one it would come with, but I can confirm it is using windows 10.The only real issue I had with this laptop, and why I gave it a 9 out of 10, is the fan. It only has one, and there’s only a tiny vent on the back of the laptop. You can feel it get warm, I haven’t had it get super hot but I can definitely feel it heating up when you’re doing things like gaming. I got a laptop cooling pad, and I haven’t had any issues of it reaching high temps. So I would definitely recommend a laptop cooling pad if you plan on playing some light video games a lot. Keep in mind, that this is not a “gaming laptop”. It can play some really well, but if you’re gonna play lots of games for an extended amount of time, look elsewhere. So yeah. 9 out of 10 rating, and 5 stars. Would easily recommend this.I just finished setting it up and it was in great condition, including the box it was contained in. I was very excited for its arrival. It really is very lightweight, like a short children’s book.At first it didn’t turn on but after I put it on the charger it started running, so the charger turned out to work really well. The set-up went smoothly, fingerprint reader worked, the laptop itself had no visible damage or scratches. The audio was loud and clear. Backlighting on the keyboard is a really nice touch. I am using this for daily tasks and college so the size and weight is very convenient to carry around.A few issues that other reviewers from other sites have pointed out would be the extra apps (bloatware) already installed. It wasn’t so much of an issue personally to uninstall them. The other is the Power button’s placement is where the Delete key normally is. I rarely use the Delete key so that might be an issue for some. I heard that the audio wasn’t very good on this late too but I didn’t think since it is much louder than the Surface I had been using (which was a major issue if I had no headphones on me). This is definitely an upgrade from my Surface Pro that I had for years now. The Surface is much smaller and heavier compared to this.Edit: I changed this to rating from 5 to 4 stars. (I’d still rate it 4.5 though) I did notice the audio issue when I started playing music videos. At 100% volume it seemed low still. The low volume doesn’t apply for things like notifications & Cortana (that is why I thought the sound seemed loud enough). If you do run into this problem, here is how I fixed it.Go to your “Settings” window, push the “Sound” tan & find the “Device Properties” link. “Additional device properties” and the pop up will have a tab where you can change the Spatial sound format to “Windows Sonic...” push apply and it made it much louder to listen to videos like from YouTube. I hope this helps!Love everything about this laptop. The ultra light weight, it feels almost like you are carrying a thin paper file folder. I don't do gaming, so no comment on that. It works for everything I need: e-mails, pictures, documents. Bought an external DVD drive for it, for when I need it. The sound is inferior to Apple, because the speakers are facing the bottom instead of the top, but I don't mind attaching external speakers if I need to.Love the work it does however the camera quality for something this tech should be a bit more impressive it’s probably 240-480p qualityHe was very surprised send loves it. Sometimes I catch him sitting and rubbing it. Weird so I walk out.Laptop is amazing especially for price. And was shipped out super fast. Came sooner than expected.Everything was amazing. Fingerprint scanner didn’t work on my unit
