When connecting to a modern HDMI 2.1 display like Gigabyte M32U the cable will only work in compatibility mode like 1080p. When changing the mode to HDMI 2.0 compatibility mode the cable starts to work at 4K but not at high refresh rate. Like other users mentioned the cable gets extremely hot so be aware. Unfortunately the cable doesn't work for long on a 2019 MacBook Pro, disconnects from 4K TV after a minute or a couple of minutes. The only stable operation I could get was 1080p at 60Hz, and 4K at 30Hz.This is the only cable out there that could handle real Dolby Atmos. I have tried many. A+++Might burn you! The HDMI becomes extremely hot!!!! I wouldn't trust it. poor engineering..No Dolby vision supportGreat product! Works amazing!
