I tried connecting this cable between a GoPro Hero 10 Black and a monitor and nothing happened. The monitor just showed a blank screen. What I would expect to happen is that the screen on the GoPro would go blank and then the display would appear on the monitor, just like when I connect my GoPro Hero 7 Black to a monitor via its built-in HDMI port.I looked through the Connections menu on the camera to see if there was something that would recognize the adapter, and found nothing. There is apparently no driver in the GoPro firmware will recognize a smart cable.Don't waste your money on this -- get the Media Mod instead.There are some additional points I need to add:1. No instructions were supplied.2. The cable has no branding, just a sticker that says "60Hz 4k".3. The cable looks exactly like the generic USB C to HDMI smart cables that are listed on Amazon.
