We had already purchased an Anker model, which is great and we still use. The iOttie has a smaller footprint and just looked nice if it was going to be on the kitchen counter. I liked the option of something other than white or black as well. It has been great, charges the iPhone fast enough. It does get a little on the warm side (the Anker has a built in fan for cooling, works well) but nothing that is unbearable. I believe these chargers should absolutely be sold with a cord and a plug!! Both the Anker and this new iOttie do that, which is a big selling point for both. "Wireless" is a total crock as you can obviously SEE the cord coming out of the unit. If they said "you don't have to plug in the phone directly" it would be more honest. But so much for advertising. Love this and might get another.
